The Met will look into whether there has been any criminal activity or not.
The Lib Dems are now conducting two inquiries. One into the claims against the party's former chief executive and the other into how they were handled. Lord Rennard says he "refutes allegations" of sexual harassment and will co-operate with any "constituted inquiry".
