New Soul Survivor conference to replace Momentum

Soul Survivor has announced Momentum, which attracted more than 5,000 people last year, is returning for the final time this weekend, in Staffordshire.

Founder Mike Pilavachi has unveiled plans for a new conference focusing on helping Christians of all ages encounter gifts of the Holy Spirit as a normal part of everyday life.

Naturally Supernatural, which will be staged at the Staffordshire Showground next July, has the same name as a three-day event held at Soul Survivor Watford each February.

Mike Pilavachi said, "Over the last few years, we have had an increasing passion to encourage the church to move in the ministry of the Holy Spirit and we believe it is time to hold an event for the whole church to explore and make space for God's Spirit.

"We believe this is the way forward if we are to be effective witnesses and reach our nation with the gospel, demonstrating God's love in our words and in our actions."

Similarly to previous Momentum and Soul Survivor events, the six-day schedule for Naturally Supernatural will include two main meetings and afternoon workshops.

Soul Survivor says the programme will include a focus on hearing the voice of God, healing, spirit-led evangelism and content for leaders, without hype or manipulation.

Attendees are also being promised a "full programme" for children and younger teenagers.
