The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association has released a new TV program based on the friendship between the late evangelist and Her Majesty the Queen.

The program – titled Billy Graham, The Queen and the United Kingdom - reflects on their shared love of Christ and their many meetings following their initial introduction in 1997.

It includes archival footage, as well as their personal correspondence, much of which is themed around their mutual dedication to God.

Their friendship was well documented in his book Just As I Am and the pair even appeared together in the Netflix drama The Crown.

Her Majesty even invited the Graham to listen to her practice her Christmas message and give her his thoughts.

Prior to his death, he promised to pray for the monarch and the royal family every day.

“The Queen was a friend to my father, but more importantly, she was a true friend of the Christian faith,” said Franklin Graham, president and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. “That’s the most important part of Queen Elizabeth’s legacy and that’s what we hope will resonate with viewers of this program.”

So far, the near-30 minute program has received 6,300 likes on YouTube.
