A charity is offering 25,000 free tickets to a new film that tells the story of Christmas, as it appears in the Bible.
'Why the Nativity?' will be premiering in 100 Cineworld cinemas in the UK.
The producers - Turning Point Ministries - have been committed to spreading the Christian message since 1982.
They're hoping that their new film will become a staple part of Christmas traditions in households across the world.
The movie takes audiences from the foretelling of Christ by Old Testament prophets up to his birth in Bethlehem, and promises "the sights and sounds of the first Christmas" with "stunning visual dramatics".
In a bid to spread the Word of God, they are offering churches and local communities free tickets to screenings of the movie.
The film will open at cinemas on Saturday, December 3 at 10am.
The producers say 'Why the Nativity' has been welcomed by church leaders: "This is such an exciting opportunity for families in the local community to come together to start their Christmas celebrations.
"Going to the cinema can be out of reach for many families because of pressure on family budgets so the fact that this is free makes it really appealing."
