He moves from his current role at the Salvation Army and will take up the new post in January.
In a statement, the CCF said: "Gareth is a long-standing CCF and Conservative Party member, and joins the CCF from the Public Affairs Unit of the Salvation Army.
"The Board were pleased to offer him the post of Executive Director from a very strong range of candidates.
"He will be taking up the post from January 2016. We look forward to working with Gareth in continuing our mission to be the bridge between the Conservative Party and Christians, and to be salt and light in British politics.
"We'd also like to take this opportunity to thank Faye Watson, our Interim Director, who has been working tirelessly to ensure a smooth transition, building relationships across Westminster and delivering quality events to our supporters."
Gareth Wallace takes over from Colin Bloom who has moved onto another role within the Conservative Party.
