Love Island 2024 contestant Matilda Draper has been open about her Christian faith, and revealed how it guided her in the villa.
In a Tiktok video with Cosmopolitan, Matilda said: "My faith is always at the forefront of my mind and it's something that I spoke about loads in the villa."
She then shared how she doesn't believe those conversations were "shown much" in the series.
Miss Draper went on to say: "It's definitely something that I use in my day-to-day life. In relationships or just anything I do, I'm praying before it. I pray before any decision I make in a relationship. It's definitely big for me."
After entering the villa as a 'bombshell', Matilda made it all the way to the Love Island UK final with Sean Stone, and the couple have made many public appearances since leaving.
The video caused controversy, with some Tiktok users commenting: "I love Matilda but this relationship ain't gonna work if Sean is a nonbeliever, just my opinion."
Another said: "Matilda, pray for Sean."
However, there were many comments of support such as "I knew there was a reason I loved Matilda."
