A London church is offering a £100,000 cash injection to one lucky small business.
The Tab Church’s financial forum is hosting a new “Angel’s Den” event – a play on the Dragon’s Den television show.
The fast-growing church, based in Lewisham, is hoping the money will help one business owner achieve their purpose, whilst being fearless about their faith.
Those entering the competition will have a turnover of up to £85,000 a year.
Sharon Grant, who is hosting the event, told Premier Christian News: “Essentially, that forum was put together to support business owners, support people who are new coming to business; it can be quite a lonely experience.
“We wanted business owners to be their true self, encompassing their faith, not necessarily hiding their faith as such, and just bringing the two arms together, faith and business.”
While not everyone can be a winner, Sharon says all the business can come away with something valuable.
She continued: “Networking, it's a great opportunity. A chance to network, meet other likeminded entrepreneurs, meet likeminded people in terms of faith business."
