Justin Bieber says he feels 'unworthy'

by Anna Rees

Justin Bieber has spoken out amid concerns for his mental health, in a vulnerable social media post saying he feels “unworthy”.

The Holy singer and his wife, Hailey Rhode Bieber, attend Churchome in Beverly Hills, led by pastor Judah Smith.

In recent months, fans have expressed concern for his wellbeing after several photos have shown him looking dishevelled and vacant.

Taking to Instagram, Justin shared that he has “always felt unworthy”.

“People told me my whole life… ‘Wow Justin u deserve that’… and I personally have always felt unworthy… if only they knew my thoughts… how judgemental I am, how selfish I really am, they wouldn’t be saying this.”

A spokesperson for Bieber refuted fans’ speculation that Justin has relapsed into struggles with substance abuse, telling TMZ that the last year has been “transformative” for the singer.

“Despite the obvious truth,” the source said, “people are committed to keeping negative, salacious, harmful narratives alive… Justin is in one of the best places of his life.”
