Justin Bieber paints cross to raise money for victims of California wildfires

by Eno Adeogun

The Christian pop-star uploaded a picture of the painting he called "Calvary" on his latest Instagram post.

The 23-year-old's work of art featured a cross with storm-clouds in the background.

The "Sorry" singer said that "All proceeds go to wildfires in CA".

The Thomas wildfire, which started in December 2017, is the largest in California's modern recorded history.

It has burned more than 700 homes in Santa Barbara and Ventura counties this month alone and is still burning in the Los Padres National Forest.

It is believed to be the third most destructive blaze in the state's history.
