Human remains found at Surrey church

by Lydia Davies

On the morning of Friday, 9th August, human bones were discovered at St Andrews Baptist Church in Farnham, Surrey, prompting a police investigation.

Surrey Police responded to the scene at Upper Church Lane around 11:46 AM following the report of the discovery.

Authorities have not specified the exact location where the bones were found but have confirmed that the churchyard has been cordoned off as investigations continue. The age of the remains is still unknown.

In a statement, Surrey Police said: "The age of the bones has yet to be determined, and a cordon has been put in place around St Andrews Churchyard while we carry out these enquiries. This should only affect foot traffic in the area."
