Over the weekend Jennifer Phillips, 49, made it through the Boot Camp phase of the show.
Phillips, a carer, was picked out as one to watch in the competition after performing Mary Mary's Shackles last month.
Her rendition of the classic got the whole crowd up on their feet, including the judges - with the exception of Simon Cowell.
Nick Grimshaw, Rita Ora and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini all danced during her performance.
Jennifer Philips is in the Over's category (over 25) and performed alongside others in her group.
Rita Ora, one of the judges, declared it was a group "full of her favourite people".
In Saturday's competition singles and groups were put together to perform in in front of judges.
The final episode will be aired before Christmas and the winner will release their own original track.
The next show will be aired this weekend on ITV.

The five met in the London Community Gospel Choir and have been praised on the show for the harmonies they have been delivering.
