England netballer says Christian faith defines her in interview

by Premier Journalist

England netballer Ellie Rattu has described her faith as the most important thing about her in a Sky Sports interview ahead of her country's Vitality Nations Cup campaign at Wembley Arena.

When asked during interview the one thing people should know about her, Rattu said that she uses netball as a way to "worship and glorify God in the gifts and abilities he has given us."

She then spoke of how blessed she felt to be doing the very thing she loved as her job.

Rattu, a 23-year-old centre and wing-defence, debuted for England two years ago.

She has previously credited her mum Lisa – “the real coach” – for supporting and empowering her on her netballing journey.

The Vitality Nations Cup will feature England, Uganda, New Zealand and 12-time World Champions Australia.
