Crime figures down seven percent in England and Wales

The number of crimes being recorded by forces in England and Wales has fallen by seven percent over the last year.

It's despite police budgets being squeezed, and a reduction in officers. But there was a rise in theft against the person which includes mobile phone thefts.

Graham Simmons from Christian charity 'Redeeming Our Communities' told Premier's News Hour why he believes church groups are having an impact on falling crime figures:
