A new film is to claim the Catholic Church in Ireland benefited from some of the money stolen during the Great Train Robbery.
The documentary, due to be released next month, will suggest one of the thieves was a God fearing post office worker.
It's claimed the Irishman then donated part of the £2.6 million haul that was stolen from a Royal Mail train in 1963.
His identity is not revealed in the film although it's thought he died in 1995.
His share was around £135,000 and most of it would have gone to Catholic Church charities in Ireland.
