An ex church youth pastor is to face a retrial on charges of raping two teenage girls after a jury was unable to reach a verdict.
Timothy Storey, 35, had pleaded not guilty to two counts of rape and one of sexual assault against one woman, along with two charges of rape against a second woman.
A jury at Woolwich Crown Court found him not guilty of raping one girl when she was 17.
The judge, Philip Katz QC, had directed the jury to find him not guilty of one count of grooming.
A retrial will now be held on the other charges as the jury was unable to reach a verdict.
A new hearing has been set at the same south-east London court for January 18 2016.
