The Church's parliamentary group is calling for an apology from DiD after it used an offensive term to describe its question and answer page on the bill.
Press officer for the campaign group, Mickey Charouneau, said a statement on the page that the Church supports the rights of individuals to hold their own views, was b*******.
The initial tweet was sent in July but Mr Charouneau resent it following a social media debate about a Premier article relating to the Church's opposition to assisted dying.
A bill, brought by Labour MP Rob Marris, which would allow for terminally ill people help to end their lives, goes before MPs next month.
The Church's '@churchstate' Twitter account, which is run by the Church of England Parliamentary team, called for an apology from Mr Charouneau.
It said online it was "hoping DiD will apologise".
But Mr Charouneau responded asking why he should: "err for what? Interesting you haven't included the other screenshots," he said.
The Church added that it was "sad to see" the "ad hominem responses" it had received to the article on Premier's website, in which a Church official stated it would be "criminally naive" to think the assisted dying bill wouldn't put vulnerable people at risk.
