The fair-trade charity, Traidcraft Exchange is launching an advent calendar with a difference this year.
It’s teaming up with anti-slavery organisations and charities and each day will suggest 24 simple ways of making the world a better place.
Anyone who signs up will receive a daily email suggesting a way to stand up for social justice.
Traidcraft Exchange says thousands of people have already signed up and it hopes the daily alerts will inspire action against injustice.
The Injustice Advent Calendar https://traidcraftexchange.org/injustice-advent-calendar is free and the charity says the daily alerts may involve sending emails, signing petitions or texting a friend, but that the tasks will take less than five minutes to complete.
Organisations involved include Anti-Slavery International, Bees for Development, Fashion Revolution, Macmillan Cancer Support, National Deaf Children's Society and the RSPCA.
Traidcraft Exchange is the partner charity of Traidcraft, the fair-trade company. It says its mission is to use the power of trade to create lasting solutions to poverty.
