Today marks the busiest day of the year for the charity with staff going through more calls than any other day.
It says Monday 13th February marks the point where credit card statements land, with weeks till the next pay day, and many people are realising what a difficult situation they're in.
Speaking on Premier's News Hour, Ed Parker from the charity said: "For a lot of people, Christmas has been that point that has highlighted the struggles that have already been going on underneath for the past year or so.
"They've got to that point where they're receiving those credit card bills and they're realising they really do need help."

The number of people seeking help from CAP is up 28 per cent on 2016 but the charity says people still find it incredibly difficult to admit they need help.
Ed Parker is encouraging Christians to pray into this area.
He said: "It takes people about 18 months from the point of realising they have a problem to making the call.
"Pray for courage for them to make that call and ask for help.
"Burying your head in the sand is never the answer and there is always a solution."
