Christian investigator supports decision to remove Taming the Tiger from sale

One of the investigators who helped to expose inaccuracies in evangelist author Tony Anthony's book has welcomed the publisher's decision to take it off the market.

Authentic Media has stopped selling Taming the Tiger and relevant resources after an inquiry into the book written by the founding Director of Avanti Ministries concluded that parts of it, which claims to tell his story, are not true.

Following discussions between the Evangelical Alliance and Avanti Ministries, Avanti agreed to set up an independent panel to investigate allegations against Mr Anthony. The Avanti report concluded, based on the evidence submitted to it, that large sections of the book and associated materials are fake.

However, prison chaplain David Buick was involved in another investigation into the book and tells Premier why he thinks Authentic Media has made the right decision:

Mr Anthony strongly defends his story, although he does acknowledges that recent information that he has received about his early life requires him to update and clarify his story, which he intends to do.
