The total donated to the Philippines emergency appeal by the British people has now reached £23 million pounds.
A Christian charity says getting aid to Typhoon victims in rural parts of the Philippines is being hampered by the destruction cause by the super storm.
Meanwhile, the second-largest ship in the Royal Navy's fleet is being sent to the country to help in the aid effort following Typhoon Haiyan. HMS Illustrious is expected to arrive in around 11 days' time, while the destroyer HMS Daring is due to reach the region tomorrow.
