In a shocking moment during a recent livestream, Christian apologist David Wood seemingly confessed to sexual activity with two minors, ages 13 and 15.
He described the acts in graphic detail to his friend Ridvan Aydemir, known as “Apostate Prophet”.
"The last two girls I had sex with before I went to jail... one was 13 and one was 15," Wood said, before admitting that he "didn't care back then."
Wood stated that he was 18 at the time and that the incidents occurred before his conversion to Christianity.
Referring to the 13-year-old, he said: "To be fair, she flung herself at me, so I guess I can defend it? No, I don't defend it, I shouldn't have done it."
He then went on to describe the sex act that he committed with the 15-year-old girl, before saying "do you know what that would be in court?" and listing a serious sex crime.
Wood, now 49, runs the YouTube channel "Apologetics Roadshow" and has 383,000 subscribers. He often directs his videos against Islam and boasts about his criminal past.
Wood also speaks openly about his antisocial personality disorder diagnosis. He previously told his audience that he rejects conventional moral rules and has described himself as a sociopath in the past.
His confessions have sent shockwaves across social media, and other YouTube creators have condemned his actions.
“Wood's apologist friends MUST DEMAND an investigation by authorities. If they don't, they are accessories to a cover-up of child abuse,” American Muslim scholar Daniel Haqiqatjou wrote in the comment section of his YouTube show, responding to Wood’s video.
“Wow, as a Christian, I’m shocked, I’m not going to lie,” another person commented under Haqiqatjou’s video.
“He needs to reported to the police in the country he lives in ASAP. He is a danger to children!” another commented.
Wood said he has not faced charges related to these allegations, and many have pointed out that the statute of limitations could prevent any potential prosecution.
