Catholic head teacher struck off

Maurice O'Brien was in charge at St Mary's Primary in Poole when he changed answers to try and improve SAT test results at the school.

The 60 year old admitted editing the papers of children he thought wouldn't do as well as they deserved.

He resigned in October after 38 years in teaching.

The National College for Teaching and Leadership says he can apply for the ban to be reviewed in 5 years.
