Bible college building up for sale

by Anna Rees Green

The building which once housed All Nations Christian College is up for sale after its courses moved online following rising costs.

The Easneye campus is a grand, gothic building in Hertfordshire, which served as a film location for the 1954 comedy The Belles of St Trinian’s.

Last year, it was announced that All Nations would leave its current building at the end of the academic year in August 2026.

The building, once the home of the Christian Buxton family, is listed for £5m.

“From this Hertfordshire campus, countless Christians have been sent out to live and share their faith around the world,” said the property’s agent, Fisher German. “Conferences, prayer gatherings and times of worship have been held regularly within the grounds, making Easneye a place of deep spiritual significance for many.”

The All Nations team have insisted that the sale of their building will not mark the end of their ministry.

“Our conversations with the global church have highlighted that they are yearning for the intercultural, biblically rooted training that we provide, but that this needs to be delivered in more accessible and flexible ways,” a statement said.

“The leadership and trustees of All Nations Christian College have prayerfully decided that to better fulfil this purpose in the changing global context, God is calling us to leave and move beyond Easneye.

"The move is so that we can do more, not less!”
