Most Rev Justin Welby went to Muslim Welfare House in Finsbury Park on Tuesday evening as members broke their daily Ramadan fasting with an Iftar meal.
The mosque said: "Thank you Archbishop JustinWelby for showing solidarity this evening and sharing iftar this evening with us."

Pictured among plates of watermelon and dates, Archbishop Justin spoke with Imam Mohammed Mahmoud (pictured above, centre) who stepped in to stop angry witnesses from attacking the attack suspect.
A man has been arrested and questioned by police after a van was driven into worshippers leaving local mosques shortly after midnight on Monday morning. One man was pronounced dead at the scene. Nine others were injured.

Officers have been given more time to question 47 year old Darren Osborne from Cardiff. He was held on suspicion of terrorism offences, murder and attempted murder.
The Christian Muslim Forum offered thanks to Muslim Welfare House "for welcoming Archbishop Justin to iftar at Muslim Welfare House- warm hospitality & conversation".
Meanwhile, Jeremy Corbyn called for resilience against hate and racism when he spoke during a vigil at the nearby Finsbury Park mosque last night.
