Reports from the country suggest a church was set on fire in the town of Collipulli, in the region of La Araucania in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
News agency Fides has reported that details of the attack are scarce, however authorities believe the blaze was started on purpose.
Earlier in the month there were arson attacks on other sites and pamphlets were found suggesting it may have been caused by the Mapuche people.
They are an indigenous group from south-central Chile.
Reports suggest this is the 17th arson attack on a church in the region in recent weeks.
The indigenous Mapuche people have been blamed with burning down 15 other Catholic and Protestant churches over the past two years.
