Anglican bishop 'delighted' after supermarkets stock religious Easter egg

An Anglican bishop says he's delighted a religious Easter egg will be sold in some of the UK's biggest supermarkets.

Rt Revd Anthony Priddis of Hereford had to Sainsbury's and Tesco, asking them to stock the Real Easter Egg after they refused last year.

After seeing a quarter of a million sold by mail order they've now agreed to sell them.

Bishop Anthony told Premier's News Hour why it's so important to get them on the shelves:

Meanwhile, Bishop Anthony has announced he's retiring in September.

He'll have served in the Church of England for 40 years, 17 as a bishop.
