A UK pastor has criticised those who bashed him on social media for stopping a worship band mid-service because the song was too "boring."
Pastor Tobi Adegboyega, better known as Pastor Tobi, is the global pastor of Nxtion Family, formerly known as SPAC Nation.
A video shows him during a service on Sunday stop the band as they were singing. He said Livingstone, the choir, was amazing, but the song was “boring” him to “death”.
The band followed the pastor's directions and took their seats after singing what appeared to be a rendition of the song 'Reckless love' by Cory Asbury.
It made rounds on social media, with many shocked at the situation and others saying he could have handled it in a different way.
Imagine your pastor saying a worship song is boring him to death 😭😭😭

In response, Pastor Tobi posted a video on Instagram Stories on Wednesday. He hailed Livingstone as being the “best choir in the world”.
Recalling the situation, he said: “It was my time to speak. They were singing a very boring song, I spend time with them. I've put them on world stages many times and so our union is family”.
He added: “The New Testament has no choir, you understand that? So we can shape the things we want. So again, there are boring songs and amazing singers.
“So those who say ‘you should have done it this way, done it that way’, stop it. Don't put yourself in a position that God has not put you… You don't know what I should have done sitting in my shoes.”
Premier has contacted the church and Pastor Tobi for a comment.
